Andy Robinson: Scotland were 'bullied' by South Africa at Murrayfield

Scotland head coach Andy Robinson says his team were ?bullied? by South Africa in their 21-10 defeat at Murrayfield.

The hosts fell 14-3 behind in the first half before making a late rally to try and salvage something from the game.

Adrian Strauss scored two tries for the tourists as they held on for victory to condemn Scotland to a second successive defeat.

"We've got a lot to learn," Robinson said on BBC1. "A lot to learn in improving defence and also in attack, particularly physically.

"I felt they bullied us a little in the first half."

Tonga are next up for the Scots and Robinson wants his players to take out their frustration in a positive manner.

"Next week against Tonga we need a performance there to put together the lessons they've learned from the first two games," Robinson said.

"There's a lot for us to look at. The disappointing thing from our side is we allowed a side to get a lead again and that's something you can't afford to do.

"But I thought South Africa defended superbly well," he said. "If they hadn't defended as well as they had, it could have been a different story."
